"Orson Frontier’s dramatic folk rock was the perfect start to the night. I swayed in a booth, as I had just gotten off a four hour shift and needed to rest my puppies. The band was animated and full of life, its vocalist thrashing around to the most sonic pieces of each song. The set was the best way to pique interest for the following two acts."

"Orson Frontier was the first band to perform. Drawing inspiration from country and folk music, the band composes songs with an atmosphere that reflects those styles. One aspect of the band that really sets it apart is the use of the accordion by band member Isaac Jordan. Some of the band’s songs even contained accordion solos. Rather than feeling forced, the accordion play felt very organic in each song. In this way, it acted as a vital part of the band instead of a distraction. Orson Frontier capped off their performance with their latest single, “Trails,” which is a soulful song that really reflected the talent of the band."
