Orson Frontier started in the summer of 2013 as a three piece line-up, featuring Jacob Jordan, Aaron McGiffin, and Matthew Hill. The band quickly made a name for themselves playing locally in the Columbus music scene, later spreading out into the Athens local scene. With a warm, well received welcoming and reception by both cities, the band has since drawn comparisons to like-minded artists such as, Neutral Milk Hotel and The Avett Brothers.
